Parallel lives is what we are living.
Focused on our bucket lists for sure.
I suppose a kibbutz or a commune,
Might promote a life more pure.

We get caught up in the rat race.
We compete for every little scrap.
Forgetting that life is so very short.
Just relax - forget that claptrap.

The revolution can’t be far away.
They haves have far too much.
The have-nots have very little.
What’s needed is a common touch.

Let’s all have a value called sharing.
On others we’ll focus our thoughts.
Doing a good deed, giving a leg-up.
Instead of just seeing life as a sport.
