A Respectful Atheist
A Respectful Atheist

Each religion claims a monopoly on the truth,
And I’ve seen them all I’m so long in the tooth.
We have to face it they can’t all be right.
Some are probably just flying a kite.

Faith is a characteristic I’m not possessing.
My Darwinism is indubitably a blessing.
Faith may just be a sacred insurance policy.
When I kick it I’ll become soil in Wallasey.
